Regional district
In British Columbia in Canada, a regional district is an administrative subdivision. The district is part of a geographic region with different boundaries and governments. As of January 2020[update] there are 27 regional districts in the province.[1] Regional districts are different from the counties of British Columbia. The counties are only for justice administration.
