Sakta

Sakta is a neighbourhood of Ózd, located next to Bánszállás. As of 2023, this area is abandoned and has no inhabitants.

History

In Sakta, coal was once taken from the ground and used carts to carry it to the Ózd Ironworks. Later, when the mine ran out, the buildings and roads fell apart, and people left. The look of Sakta is sad and filled with despair.
