Salatyn Asgarova
Salatyn Aziz qizi Asgarova (Azerbaijani: [Salatın Əziz qızı Əsgərova] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help); Russian: Салатын Аскерова; 16 December 1961 – 9 January 1991) is a National Hero of Azerbaijan. She was one of the Azerbaijani journalists killed in the Nagorno-Karabakh War.[1][2]

Legacy
A Baku street and a ship in the Caspian Sea are named after her.
A monument in her memory was erected at Tafakkur University in Baku.
She was given the National Hero title after her death. Salatyn was buried in the Martyrs' Lane in Baku.[3]
