Shambali
Shambali (Turkish: [Şambalı] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help)) is a Middle Eastern sweet cake. It is cake made of semolina sweetened with syrup and topped with peanut. Its shape is rectangular.
It is also known in most of the countries which formed the Ottoman Empire. Its name means "Damascus honey" (Turkish: [Şam balı] Error: {{Lang}}: text has italic markup (help)) and shambali can also be called Damascus dessert.
