Sighetu Marmației

Sighetu Marmației (also spelled Sighetul Marmației; German: Marmaroschsiget or Siget; Hungarian: Máramarossziget; Ukrainian: Сигіт, romanized: Syhit; Yiddish: סיגעט), until 1960 Sighet, is a city (municipality) in Maramureș County near the Iza River, in northwestern Romania.
