Snowpiercer (Hangul: 설국열차; Hanja: 雪國列車; RR: <span title="Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'Module:Language/data/ISO 639 override' not found. transliteration" class="Unicode" style="white-space:normal; text-decoration: none">Seolgungnyeolcha) is a 2013 science fiction action movie based on the French graphic novel Le Transperceneige by Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand and Jean-Marc Rochette.[5] The movie was directed by Bong Joon-ho.[6][7]

The movie stars Chris Evans, Song Kang-ho, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Go Ah-sung, John Hurt, and Ed Harris.

Snowpiercer received positive movie reviews after being released on 29 July 2013.[8] It was also successful at the box office, earning $86.8 million compared to its movie budget of $40 million.[4][3]
