St. John's University (New York City)
St. John's University is a private, coeducational, Roman Catholic university in Queens, New York. The university has about 20,069 students. It was founded in 1870. The current president of the university is Brian Shanley. There is also a campus in Paris, France and Rome, Italy.
Sports
The athletics teams of the university are called the Red Storm. They have 17 varsity teams and they compete in the Big East Conference.

SJU provides shuttle bus service for students to access satellite houses, other campuses in New York City, subway and commuter rail, and certain destinations in Manhattan.
