Super Formula Championship
The Japanese Super Formula Championship is a formula racing championship held mainly in Japan. It is the most important single-seater racing championship in Japan and Asia as a whole.[1] The series is controlled by the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF) and managed by Japan Race Promotion (JRP). As of 2024[update], Super Formula is the second fastest racing championship in the world, after Formula One.[2] The series relies on Honda and Toyota for engines, which would cost too much without their help.[1]
