Teruyuki Okazaki

Teruyuki Okazaki (岡崎 照幸, June 22, 1931 – April 21, 2020) was a tenth degree black belt in Shotokan Karate. He was the founder and chief instructor of the International Shotokan Karate Federation (ISKF). Along with Gichin Funakoshi and Masatoshi Nakayama, Okazaki helped found the Japan Karate Association's instructor training program. He was born in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.

Okazaki died on April 21, 2020 of COVID-19 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the age of 88.
