Thousand Oaks, California
Thousand Oaks is a city in southeastern Ventura County, California. It is part of the Greater Los Angeles Area in the United States. The city is located about 14 miles (23 km) from Los Angeles County, and 35 miles (56 km) to Downtown Los Angeles. It was named after the many oak trees that grew in the area. The city seal has a picture of an oak tree.
