William Carney
William Carney (July 1, 1942 – May 23, 2017) was an American politician. He served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from New York's 1st congressional district from 1979 through 1987. Carney was a member of the Conservative Party of New York and later the Republican Party. He was born in Brooklyn, New York.
Carney died on May 23, 2017 in Washington, D.C. from prostate cancer at the age of 74.[1]
