Zambezi River
The Zambezi River is the fourth largest river in Africa. It is also the largest river that enters the Indian Ocean. It starts in Zambia, flows successively through Angola, Zambia again, borders Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, to Mozambique where it enters the ocean.
The Victoria Falls, the most beautiful sight on the river, is listed as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.[1] The Kariba Dam on the Zambezi is a major source of hydroelectricity
