History
AP3 is an alternative-rock band, formed in December 2022, in Bucharest. Although the project was recently formed, the five members have a well-defined musical background, with roots in bands such as Iris, Partizan or Marfar. The name of the band comes from the name of the lead singer, Victor Apetrei, who is an actor and created this project out of the desire to play rock music. About a year after its founding, the band performed at the “Grigore Vasiliu Birlic” Theater Festival in Fălticeni, but also at the launch of the feature film “Mireasa Mortului”, directed by Cornel Gheorghiță. Last year they released the single Nebunii calatori, during a concert held at The Pub Universității. Since then, they have performed in other clubs in Bucharest, including True Club, as well as several cultural events organized by the 4th District City Hall. The five refuse to fit their style into a specific category, as they combine rock with several musical genres, hoping to achieve a unique sound, specific to them. Their newest song is called Liber. On October 2025, AP3 announced their new six-piece line-up, with former Trupa Muzicii Rock member Vlad Bușilă on guitar.
