Atherton, California
Atherton is an incorporated town in San Mateo County, California, United States. At the 2020 census, 7,188 people lived there.[1] Atherton is one of the richest cities in the United States, and is regularly ranked among the most expensive ZIP codes in the country.[2][3][4] It was founded in 1923.
