Budhivant Koli
The Budhivant Koli (also spelled as Budhiwant Koli, Budhvant Koli and Budivant Koli) is a clan (Gotra) of the Koli caste mostly found in the Indian states of Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka and Telangana and Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and nearby areas. The Budhivant Kolis are Budhivant because of their intelligence and the meaning of Budhivant is Inteligent.[1][2] Budhivant clan of Koli caste is divided into seventeen subclans.[3][4]
