Carmelo Anthony
Carmelo Kyam Anthony (born May 29, 1984 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American former professional basketball small forward. He played a total of nineteen seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played for the Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, and Los Angeles Lakers.
Anthony also represented the United States at the Olympic Games. He won a bronze medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and a gold medal at the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Olympic Games.[1][2][3][4]
On May 22, 2023, Anthony announced his retirement from playing professional basketball.[5]
