Darrell Issa
Darrell Edward Issa (/ˈaɪsə/; born November 1, 1953) is an American businessman and politician. He is the U.S. Representative for California's 50th congressional district since 2021. Before, he was the Republican U.S. Representative for California's 49th congressional district, from 2001 to 2019.

In January 2018, Issa announced his retirement from Congress.[4] On September 19, 2018, President Donald Trump nominated Issa as Director of the United States Trade and Development Agency.[5][6]
On September 26, 2019, Issa announced that he was running for California's 50th congressional district in the 2020 election.[7][8] He won the general election in November 2020.
