David Durenberger
David Ferdinand Durenberger (August 19, 1934 – January 31, 2023) was an American politician. He was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He served as a Republican member of the U.S. Senate from Minnesota from November 8, 1978 to January 3, 1995.

Durenberger endorsed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the 2016 presidential election.[1] He also supported former Vice President Joe Biden's campaign for the 2020 presidential election.[2]
Durenberger died on January 31, 2023 at his home in Saint Paul, Minnesota from heart failure at the age of 88.[3]
