Disney Princess (video game)
Disney Princess is a 2003 action-adventure video game developed by Art Co., Ltd. for the Game Boy Advance. The game has the princesses completing several levels, battling villains and solving puzzles to progress toward collecting the "Tiara of Happiness," which signifies completing the game 100%.

Gameplay
Multiple stories, six princess chapters, each with distinct gameplay mechanics. Various treasures are scattered throughout levels; players can view collected treasures. The game uses password save system to record progress. Difficulty settings: Easy, Normal, and Hard modes, affecting the number of lives and challenge.
The game divides into six story chapters, each centered on a different princess:
- Snow White: Summons the Seven Dwarfs with magical music to fight the Evil Queen.
- Cinderella: Uses a broom to chase Lucifer and competes in a dance contest with her stepsisters.
- Aurora: Battles Maleficent using fairy magic wands.
- Ariel: Fights Ursula using King Triton’s trident.
- Belle: Drops books on Gaston when he tries to capture her enchanted household objects.
- Jasmine: Confronts Jafar with a sword.
Each princess has unique moves and gameplay mechanics, with levels featuring puzzles, enemies, and collectible treasures.
Development and Release
Developed by Art Co., Ltd., the game was released in North America on April 4, 2003, and in Europe on June 20, 2003. It was marketed as suitable for all ages, rated "E" for Everyone.
Reception
While the game received mixed reviews from critics, many praised its appeal to young children and its faithful representation of Disney characters in an action-oriented format. Some criticism was directed at its reliance on password-based saving and its relatively short playtime. A review from Kidzworld in December 2006 rated it 4 out of 5 stars.[1]
