Dresden is a city in Decatur County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, 41 people lived there.[6]

History
Dresden was created in 1888.[7] It was named by German settlers after the city of Dresden, in Germany.[8][9]
The first post office in Dresden was created in October 1888.[10]
Dresden was a station on the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad.[11]

Dresden is at 39°37′20″N 100°25′17″W / 39.62222°N 100.42139°W (39.622221, -100.421403).[12]
According to the United States Census Bureau says that the city has a total area of 0.94 square miles (2.43 km2). All of it is land.[1]
