Gene Pitney

Gene Francis Alan Pitney (17 February 19405 April 2006) was an American pop singer and songwriter. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut. Some of his most well-known songs are "Town Without Pity", "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" and "Twenty Four Hours From Tulsa". He died in 2006 while on tour in the UK.
