Chronology
Predecessor

The Honda ZR-V is a compact Crossover SUV made by Honda since 2022.

History and Features

The development of the ZR-V was led by Shuichi Ono.[5] It was later shown in The United States in April 2022 as the new Honda HR-V.[6] It was launched in 2022 as a 2023 model. Later it was launched in Europe and China as the ZR-V because it sold alongside the HR-V.

The SUV has a 1.5 liter turbo and a 2.0 liter petrol engines and also a hybrid version that combines a 2.0 liter petrol engine and a electric motor. All the versions have a CVT transmission.

Markets

The Honda ZR-V is currently sold in North America as the HR-V, China (where it is produced both by GAC Honda and Dongfeng Honda the latter sells it as the HR-V), Europe, Egypt, Middle East[7] Hong Kong, Australia,[8] New Zealand,[9] Brazil, and Japan where it replaced the Honda CR-V.[10]
