Josh Shapiro
Joshua David Shapiro (born June 20, 1973) is an American politician and lawyer. He became the 48th Governor of Pennsylvania in 2023. He was the Attorney General of Pennsylvania from 2017 to 2023. He was in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and as chairman of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners. He is a member of the Democratic Party.

Shapiro was the Democratic nominee for Governor of Pennsylvania in the 2022 election.[1][2][3][4] He ran unopposed in the Democratic primary and defeated Republican nominee Doug Mastriano in the general election by a 14.8% margin.
