K. R. Narayanan
Kocheril Raman Narayanan ( listen (info • help); 4 February 1921 – 9 November 2005) was an Indian politician. He was born in Perumthanam, Travancore, British India. He was the tenth President of India from 1997 to 2002. Before this, he was the Vice President of India from 1992 to 1997.[1] Narayanan was a member of the Indian National Congress.
Narayanan died of pneumonia caused by renal failure on 9 November 2006 in New Delhi at the age of 84.
