Katherine Tai
Katherine Chi Tai (born March 18, 1974)[1] is an American lawyer and politician. She is the 19th and current United States Trade Representative since March 18, 2021. Tai is a member of the Democratic Party.

She was the chief trade counsel for the United States House Committee on Ways and Means.
In December 2020, Tai was nominated by then President-elect Joe Biden to serve as United States Trade Representative.[2] She was confirmed by the United States Senate with a 98-0 vote on March 17, 2021.
