Kim Yong-nam
Kim Yong-nam (Hangul: 김영남; Hanja: 金永南; 4 February 1928 – 3 November 2025) was a North Korean politician. He served as President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly. He was in this position from 1998 to 2019.[1] Previously, he served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1983 to 1998.[2] He was elected a member of the Presidium of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) in 2010.

Kim died from multiple organ failure caused by colorectal cancer on 3 November 2025 at a hospital in Pyongyang, North Korea at the age of 97.[3]
