Marvin Goodfriend
Marvin Seth Goodfriend (November 6, 1950 – December 5, 2019)[1] was an American economist. He was a professor of economics at Carnegie Mellon University. He was the director of research at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.

President Donald Trump nominated him to be Federal Reserve Board of Governors, but his nomination was soon removed.[2]
Goodfriend died at his home in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 5, 2019, aged 69.[3]
