Nguyễn Phú Trọng

Nguyễn Phú Trọng (born 14 April 1944) is a Vietnamese politician. He is the current General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam since 19 January 2011. Nguyễn was also the President of Vietnam, de jure head of state of Vietnam, in office from 2018 until 2021.[1] Nguyễn Phú Trọng was also Chairman of the National Assembly from 2006 to 2011.
