Quezon City
Quezon City, or Q.C., is the largest city of the Philippines. It is just south of Manila. In 2015, it had a population of 2.936 million people.[8] The city, on Luzon island, was named after Manuel L. Quezon, the former president of the Commonwealth of the Philippines.

Quezon City Media
Manuel L. Quezon, the second president of the Philippines and the visionary behind the creation of Quezon City, is the namesake of the city.
The transfer of the University of the Philippines from Manila to Diliman was a precedent for the creation of Quezon City.
