Ranan Lurie
Ranan R. Lurie (Hebrew: רענן לוריא; May 26, 1932 – June 8, 2022) was an Egyptian-born Israeli-American political cartoonist and journalist. He was a senior associate at the CSIS (Center for Strategic and International Studies) from 1990 until his death.[1] He was a member of the United Nations Correspondents Association. He was founder and Editor-in-Chief of Cartoonews. Lurie was born in Cairo, Egypt but raised in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Lurie died on June 8, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 90.[2]
