Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) (also known as Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 edition) is smartphone developed by Samsung.[1][2][3] It was released on 15 December 2015 in China. It was available for Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia in April 2016.

Samsung Galaxy A5 has 2GB RAM, 5.2 inch Super AMOLED screen, 2900mAh battery capacity, 13MP wide back camera, 5MP wide selfie camera, 1080P@30fps video recording, 16GB storage, Exynos 7580 octa (28 nm) chipset and 18W wired charger.[4] It also Samsung Pay worked for this phone.[5]

Samsung Galaxy A5 run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, it can upgrade to other versions like Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Android 7.0 Nougat when they came out.[6]
