Ye Zhengda

Ye Zhengda (simplified Chinese: 叶正大; traditional Chinese: 葉正大; pinyin: Yè Zhèngdà; 22 August 1927 – 14 December 2017) was a Chinese aircraft designer. He was a professor and senior engineer at Northwestern Polytechnical University. In 1988, he was awarded the military rank of lieutenant general (Zhongjiang) by the Chinese government.[1]

He was a member of the 10th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and a delegate to the 5th National People's Congress. He was born in Guangdong, China.

On December 14, 2017, Ye died in Beijing at the age of 90.[2]
