Abbotsford, Wisconsin
Abbotsford is a city in the state of Wisconsin in the United States. It is in both Clark County, Wisconsin and Marathon County, Wisconsin. The city is a part of the Wausau, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. According to the 2010 United States Census, there were 2,310 people living in Abbotsford.[3]

The city is named after Edwin H. Abbott. Abbott was in charge of the Wisconsin Central Railway.[4] Abbotsford was incorporated in 1965.[5]
The public schools in Abbotsford are part of the Abbotsford School District. There is one elementary school, one middle and high school, and one alternative high school.[6]

The United States Census Bureau says that the city's size is 2.7 square miles (7.0 km2). All of this is land. Abbotsford does not have any rivers, lakes, or other kinds of standing water in it.[8]
Demographics
In 2000, there were 1,956 people living in Abbotsford.[2] These people made up 817 households and 516 families. The population density was 641.1 people per square mile (247.6 people/km²). The population was 98.57% white, 0.15% African-American or black, 0.10% Native American, 0.05% Asian, 0.66% other races, and 0.46% multiple races. 1.99% of the population said they were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
In 2010, there were 2,310 people living in Abbotsford. 73.7% of the people were white, 0.1% black or African-American, 0.3% Native American, 0.7% Asian, 0.5% multiple races, and 25.0% Hispanic or Latino.[3][9]
