The East Bengal Regiment (Bengali: ইস্ট বেঙ্গল রেজিমেন্ট) in short "E Bengal" is an infantry regiment of Bangladesh Army oldest and biggest formation of Bangladesh Army. Major Abdul Waheed Chowdhury Officer in Command of the first training Establishment of East Bengal Regiment, raised and commanded 1st East Bengal Regiment and lifted it to the 1st Battalion of the East Bengal Regiment .
