Hudson is a city located along the west border of Columbia County, New York, United States. As of the 2020 census it had a population of 5,894.[2] It is the second-largest in the county.
Hudson is the county seat of Columbia County.

The Hudson sesquicentennial commemorative half dollar was issued in 1935. It had one of the smallest mintages for a type issued by the US Mint.
