Khizar Hayat Tiwana
Sir Malik Khizar Hayat Tiwana KCSI, OBE (7 August 1900 – 20 January 1975) (Punjabi: نواب ملک خضرحیات تیوانہ) was a Punjabi politician of British India. He was a member of the Unionist Party (Punjab). He remained Premier of the Punjab region from 1942 to 1947, just before the Partition of India.
He was from a Tiwana Jat landowning family which had been prominent since the 15th and 16th centuries. His father Malik Sir Umar Hayat Tiwana had also been a faithful vassal of the British Raj and did much to elevate the family further.
