History
In 1968, Long and Foster was founded by Henry Long and Wesley Foster.[1] Eleven years later, the company transferred complete ownership to Wesley Foster.[1] Since its creation, the company has set up offices in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania, New Jersey, West Virginia, Delaware, and North Carolina.

Long and Foster provides sales and purchases of homes, land, and commercial properties; mortgage, title, and insurance assistance; insurance offerings; and relocation and settlement services.
