Montbard
Montbard is a commune and subprefecture of the Côte-d'Or department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in eastern France. It is also the capital of the arrondissement of Montbard and of the canton of Montbard.

Montbard is a subprefecture of the Côte-d'Or department since 1926. It is also the capital of the arrondissement of Montbard and the administrative centre (French: chef-lieu) of the canton of Montbard formed by 57 communes, with 18,764 inhabitants (2014).[6]
