Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania

Philadelphia County is the most populous county in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. As of 2020, Philadelphia County had a population of 1,603,797 residents.[1] The county is the second smallest county in Pennsylvania by land area, but the largest in population.

Philadelphia County is one of the three original counties, along with Chester and Bucks counties, created by William Penn during November 1682.
