SummerSlam (2014) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view and livestreaming show made by WWE. It took place on August 17, 2014 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. It was the twenty-seventh SummerSlam event held by WWE and the first to also stream live on the WWE Network.
The main event saw Brock Lesnar defeat John Cena to win his fourth WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
