Tabaré Vázquez
Tabaré Ramón Vázquez Rosas (Spanish pronunciation: [taβaˈɾe raˈmon ˈbaskes ˈrosas]; 17 January 1940 – 6 December 2020) was an Uruguayan politician. He served as President of Uruguay from 2015 to 2020.

In August 2019, Vázquez was diagnosed with lung cancer.[1] He died on 6 December 2020 from the disease in Montevideo at the age of 80.[2][3]
