Clive Dunn
Clive Robert Benjamin Dunn OBE (9 January 1920 – 6 November 2012) was an English actor, comedian, singer, artist, and author. Dunn is most known for his role as Lance Corporal Jack Jones, the butcher (meat-cutter) in Dad's Army.

Life
Dunn was born and grew up in Covent Garden, London, in the United Kingdom. He went to school at Sevenoaks and at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts. As a child, he almost died from problems after his family got a doctor to remove his third nipple.[1]
Dunn spent four years as a prisoner of war in Nazi Germany during World War II.[2] He married Priscilla Morgan in 1959. They had two daughters, Jessica and Polly. Dunn and his family moved to Portugal where he spent his time painting until he became blind.[2] In 1975, he was created an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).[2]
Death
Dunn died on the morning of 6 November 2012, in a hospital in Algarve, Portugal, from problems after a surgery. He was 92 years old.[3] He had worked in acting for almost 50 years.[2]
