Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, OD (née Fraser; born 27 December 1986) is a Jamaican sprinter. She became famous in 2008 when she became the first Caribbean woman to win 100 meters gold at the Olympics at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.[1] At the 2012 London Olympic Games she won another gold medal in the same event. She also won silver in 200 meters and 4 x 100 meters relay.[2] She is five feet tall. As of 2025, she is the third fastest women to run 100 meters of all time, behind Florence Griffith Joyner and Elaine Thompson-Herah.[3]
Personal life
Fraser-Price is a Christian.[4] She married Jason Pryce in 2011.[5]
In early 2017, Fraser-Price said that she was pregnant.[6] On 7 August 2017, she had a son named Zyon.[6]
