This template expands a name to link to the appropriate tube station article, without displaying "tube station".
Optionally either a second or a third parameter can be supplied to distinguish between identically named stations in different locations. The second parameter puts the disambiguator in the middle of the title (as in "XXX (Second Parameter) tube station") while the third parameter puts the disambiguator at the end (as in "XXX tube station (Third Parameter)").
For example:
{{Tubestation|Piccadilly Circus}} expands to: [[Piccadilly Circus tube station|Piccadilly Circus]].
Discretion should be used on whether to name the place itself or the station that serves it. In railway articles it is generally preferred to use the station unless specifically talking about the place, for example that Piccadilly Circus serves Piccadilly Circus.
The template can be abbreviated as {{LUS}} (for London Underground Station).

For new systems and systems in need of maintenance, consider using the newer {{Station link}} (abbreviated {{stl}} or {{slk}}) instead, which uses the faster and less maintenance-intensive Module:Adjacent stations.
