2014 Formula One World Championship
The 2014 Formula One season is the 65th season of the Formula One World Championship. The motor racing championship is the highest class of competition for open-wheel racing cars.
The 2014 season started with the Aussie Grand Prix on 16 March 2014. The last race of the season is the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on 23 November 2014. Eleven teams and twenty-two drivers are competing in nineteen Grands Prix.

In 2014 Formula One travelled to Russia for the first time, with the Russian Grand Prix at a street circuit in the Sochi Olympic Park.
Car aesthetics proved controversial in 2014, with the demand for a low nose resulting in teams designing cars with a finger-like appendage—seen here in the nose of the Caterham CT05—dubbed the "alien" at the front of the chassis.
Mercedes secured their first World Constructors' Championship with a 1–2 finish in Russia.
Jules Bianchi—seen here in Bahrain—scored Marussia's first and only points in Formula One at the Template:F1 GP. He became the first Formula One fatality since 1994 after an accident at the Template:F1GP.
Susie Wolff became the first woman to take part in an F1 weekend since 1992 when she participated in free practice at the British Grand Prix.
