Patti Smith
Patti Smith (born Patricia Lee Smith on December 30, 1946) is an American singer and poet.[1] She was an important member of the punk rock music trend in the 1970s.[2] Her first album Horses was produced by John Cale.

On October 15, 2006, Smith performed a 3½-hour tour de force show to close out CBGB, the famed New York City live music venue.
