Royal Rumble (2013) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event made by WWE. It took place on January 27, 2013, at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. It was the 26th Royal Rumble event held by WWE.
Background
As is the case every year since the event's beginning, the event's main event was the 30-man over-the-top-rope battle royal, also known as the Royal Rumble match. The match started with two wrestlers and a new one was added every 90 seconds. To eliminate an opposing wrestler he must be thrown over the top rope and have both his two feet hit the floor, this continued until there was only one man left, who was named the winner. The winner received either a WWE Championship match or a World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania 29.[2]

- 1 – Barrett was already eliminated, but after that, Sin Cara pushed Bo Dallas over the top rope. As a result, both Cara and Barrett were able to eliminate Dallas.
- 2 – Cesaro threw Bryan over the top rope, who was then caught on the outside by Kane (who had already been eliminated). Kane then dropped Bryan to the floor, eliminating him.
