Format

Chantal Janzen, Jan Smit and Edsilia Rombley, the presenters of the programme

During the programme, all 41 songs that had been chosen to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 were show but no one could vote. Participants from the past were invited to make an appearance. Together, the artists performed "Love Shine a Light" from their home countries.[4] Videos of Eurovision fans singing along to "What's Another Year" by Johnny Logan, which won the Eurovision Song Contest 1980 in The Hague, were shown as well.[5]

Venue

Hilversum was the host city and Studio 21 in Media Park was the venue of the show.[1] It was the second time Hilversum hosted a Eurovision event, having previously hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 1958.[6]
