2020 Census
In 2020, there were 56,320 people living in Pocatello. These people made up 21,651 households. The people were 83.6% White, 1.2% African American, 2.2% Native American, 1.7% Asian, 0.4% Pacific Islander, 3.7% from other races, and 7.3% from two or more races. 10.3% of the people were Hispanic or Latino.
24.9% of the people were under 18 years old; 12.5% of the people were between 18 and 24 years old; 27.8% of the people were between 25 and 44 years old; 20.4% of the people were between 45 and 64 years old; 14.4% were 65 years old or older. 50.5% of the people were women, and 49.5% of the people were men.[2]
