Frank Kendall III

Frank Kendall III (born January 26, 1949) is an American engineer, lawyer, and executive. He was the 26th United States Secretary of the Air Force from 2021 until 2025. From 2012 to 2017 he served as the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics in the Barack Obama administration.[1][2][3]

In April 2021, President Joe Biden nominated Kendall III to be the United States Secretary of the Air Force.[4] His nomination was confirmed by the United States Senate in July 2021.[5]
